Hello from Paris!
Yesterday was our first day here in Paris and we got to explore Notre Dame cathedral as well as the Latin Quarter. We've been keeping active by walking the streets of Paris (DPA!) and also got to see the Arc de Triomph up close! Tonight we discovered the beautiful view of this city from the top of the Eiffel Tower! Earlier we got to explore the incredible Pallace of Versaille, where many of us also ate a costly lunch (sorry parents!) but hopefully also had a chance to pick up some neat souvenirs to bring back home :)

LONDON UPDATE!
To all the parents, fellow students, and curious readers out there, our stay here in London is coming to an end and we thought that we would finally share a little bit of what has been happening. After our little travel hiccup we finally arrived - tired - but safe and excited. As tired as we were we could still enjoy the sights of London on our first day. We saw Buckingham Palace as well as many of the other royal estates and a few major landmarks like Big Ben. It took us a few days to catch up on our sleep and to get the hang of the confusing transit system - although no one was left behind! We also took part in a very cool shopping tour in East London . Our guides took us to some of London 's unique shops and we had the chance to spend a little bit of our parent’s money. The Victoria and Albert Museum of Art and Design gave us the chance to explore on our own and a lot of the students really enjoyed the view at St. Paul ’s Cathedral. The highlight for many of us however, was that evening, when we went to see The Lion King. The performance was spectacular and exceeded our expectations. Today we saw the Tower of London and we had a chance to explore the torture chambers and see the crown jewels. Most of us (hopefully) are now packing because tomorrow after our fashion day we’ll be catching the train and heading to Paris ! We’d like to apologize for the lack of posts but we’re also including some pictures from our time here so far and we hope to be updating again soon.

We have arrived!
We arrived safe and sound (3hours late) after a detour to Scotland due to fog. Unfortunately, we missed the tour of Westminster Abbey but squeezed a tour of the outside, Big Ben, Buckingham palace and trafalgar square by night! Check the blog out tomorrow as we will post updates and pictures! Inspite of a long flight, lack of sleep and tired feet from getting oriented, students were positive and helpful. No phones at this time, as we didn't have time to go to the cell phone store.
